Bell Federal Credit Union and Epic Multimedia


When Epic Multimedia was approached by Bell Federal Credit Union of Sioux Falls seeking higher brand awareness and market share, Epic delivered. Bell Federal Credit Union had a limited budget so Epic really needed to focus its campaign and send the right message to the right places. As it says on Epic’s website, “if you can’t outspend them, out think them.” This campaign is a prime example of how getting great results does not have to include spending vast amounts of money.

The Bell Federal Credit Union campaign occurred during the middle of the recession, many people were dissatisfied with their current banking institutions. In other words this was the perfect time for a local financial institution to make its move. Epic exploited the frustration with big banking and corporations. Focusing on the benefits of personal service, security, and peace of mind.

Epic utilized radio and the internet as the two mediums to spread its message. Banner ads and videos were posted on local websites and one radio spot was spun on local stations.

Epic Multimedia began as a video production company doing wedding videos and as they picked up more and more clients they expanded their services to become a full advertising agency.
