Learfield Sports comes to South Dakota

Learfield Sports, an athletic marketing partner and multimedia rights holder for more than 50 collegiate institutions nationwide, has expanded to include both South Dakota State University and University of South Dakota.

Learfield Sports officially kicks off their 10-year partnership with both South Dakota institutions in the 2011 football season. Locally titled "Jackrabbit Sports Properties" and "Coyote Sports Properties," the partnerships will include managing and selling multimedia and sponsorship rights for all athletics, signage and sponsorships at all venues, certain radio and television programming, corporate hospitality and print sponsorships, and marketing and official athletic website advertising.

Brad Poe, General Manager of Jackrabbit Sports Properties, is getting right to work to ensure that the individual needs of SDSU are met and the desired audience is reached. "We are concentrating on the gojacks.com website, text promotions, social media, and expanding signage in Coughlin Stadium. We are also expanding statewide reach and going after a lot of state agencies and statewide businesses such as South Dakota Lottery, Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Transportation, and have recently recieved approval to work with vices, one of which being Anheuser-Busch."

In the upcoming season, Jackrabbit fans statewide can look forward to hearing all events on the WNAX radio network, as well as watching three SDSU football games on television. To learn more about Learfield and its presence in South Dakota, go to LearfieldSports.com.
